VIDEO: What Love Looks Like: Credible Messengers Building Community in DC

Balestra Media produced this video for the Public Welfare Foundation to showcase the tireless work of the DC Credible Messengers Program, which provides employment opportunities for people returning home from prison to mentor justice-involved youth and families. 

This video explains how program participants apply their lived experiences and success in transforming their own lives to help those in their communities trying to break the cycle of mass incarceration and painful family separations. These Credible Messengers coach others in similar situations to make better life choices, connect with the resources they need to thrive, and build community.
